Snapchat Users Are FURIOUS Over New Update.. Here’s How to Get The Old Snapchat Back

If you’re terrified about getting a major update to the Snapchat app, we’ve got an easy guide to avoiding an auto-update
SNAPCHAT is rolling out a controversial new update in the UK that completely changes the app’s design.
The update has sparked fury among Snapchat users, as it makes sweeping changes to almost every part of the app.
The app still opens to the camera like before, but most of the other features have been shuffled around.
For instance, swiping left reveals a Friends page that lets you see your chats with friends, but also all of their Snapchat Stories.
The Friends panel is also now ordered based on an algorithm that works out who you like to chat with the most.
“You can think of it as a more sophisticated Best Friends algorithm that makes it easier to find the friends you want to talk to, when you want to talk to them,” Snapchat explained.
“We’ve all had the frustrating experience of scrolling endlessly through our Chats to find the right person – now your friends will be listed in the order that you want to talk to them.”
Swiping right now takes you to a redesigned ‘Discover’ page, which surfaces videos from people you aren’t friends with – like publishers and creators.
Discover used to be arranged in a horizontal pattern, but now it’s a full-screen layout that lets you scroll vertically.

It’s also now ordered based on what Snapchat thinks will be the most relevant content for you, based on what you typically click on.
Your own story is now managed through your profile page, and Group Chats will automatically get their own group story. The Snap Map has also moved, and now appears on the Discover page.
Actress Amber Frank wrote: “The new Snapchat update is more complicated than trying to turn on your friend’s shower.”
Another Twitter user said: “I’m contemplating deleting Snapchat because of the update that I DIDN’T even want.”
And one angry Snapchat fan said she was “honestly so disgusted” over the update.
In a statement given to The Sun, a Snapchat spokesperson said: “Updates as big as this one can take a little getting used to, but we hope the community will enjoy it once they settle in.”

How to avoid new Snapchat update

If you’ve already got the update then there’s no easy way to downgrade your app.
